Privacy Policy

Who we are

Certain Data is an independent data and AI architecture consultancy based in Vancouver, British Columbia. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through certaindata.ca. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

When you use our contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, work email address, company, your primary challenge, and any message you write. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal information.

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical information such as IP address and browser type to deliver the site securely and protect it from abuse. If spam protection is enabled on the form, Cloudflare Turnstile may process similar technical signals to tell people apart from bots.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and schedule a scoping call.
  • To keep a record of our business correspondence.
  • To protect the website and form from spam and abuse.

We will not add you to a mailing list or use your details for marketing without your explicit consent.

Where it goes

Form submissions are delivered by email to our business inbox through Cloudflare. Our service providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to respond to you and for reasonable business record-keeping, and then delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to our use of it, by emailing hello@certaindata.ca. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
